a 19junnie55-59 : Vanessa used "roids" because she was into body building for awhile and she wanted more muscles fast. It was an unintended *side-effect* of the meds that her clit grew even bigger than it was before. Ever read that book? 2)Anabolic steroids went on the market in 1960, invented by John Zeigler. They were in common use by the 1970s. Wikipedia has a page on steroids in sports.
