Three, Two, One .. "The Dog Sled Ride" Feb. 14, 2022, Lake Flower AirBnB weekend Three, Two, One .. And with the countdown, our dog sled is whizzing across frozen Mirror Lake! We contracted with a local musher and his team to tour the wintertime setting around the lakeshore for fun. Seven strong Husky's pulling my wife and me thru the snowdrifts with our musher calling out the dogs by name. "Hey Barney, hey Wojo" .. "Hey Fish, hey Chano" .. "Hey Lugar, hey Dietrich" .. followed by "PICK it UP, Wentworth!!" Just then, we realized that all of the dogs were named after the hit show "Barney Miller." We had our private chuckle under the fur pelt that kept us warm over that bit of funny hound-naming. We knew that "Wentworth" was the only woman on the police squad in the show, and our musher's bitch was leading the pack of boys down the trail.
